Neuter declension in Slovenian
The neuter nouns in Slovenian always end in -o or -e in the nominative singular , pluralia tanta in the nominative in -a. The neuter Declination - apart from the general for the neutralization of the Indo-European languages typical -a in the nominative and accusative plural - largely the male declination of inanimate nouns .
As in other Indo-European languages, the following also applies to the neuter in Slovenian:
- The accusative singular of noun and adjective is identical to the nominative singular.
- The accusative plural of noun and adjective is identical to the nominative plural and ends in -a.
