Sébastien Grimaldi (born September 10, 1979 in Givors ) is a former French football player.

Career

Grimaldi was born in Givors , France and began his career at Saint-Romain Engier . In 1992 he then moved to the Oullins club. He stayed there until he moved to Olympique Lyon in 1995, his first position at a large club.

In 2000 Grimaldi moved to AS Cannes , where he only stayed two years and was transferred to SCO Angers . After three years at Angers SCO , he moved to Excelsior Mouscron in Belgium .

On January 31, 2007 he moved to England for Chesterfield FC . He made his debut on February 3, 2007 in a 1-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth .

In July 2008 he signed a contract with the Cypriot club APOP Kinyras Peyias , with whom he won the Cypriot Cup on May 17, 2009.
