The Södermalmshalle ( Swedish Söderhallarna or Södermalms saluhall ) is a market hall in the district Södermalm in Stockholm .

The Södermalmshalle forms the western boundary of the Medborgarplatsen . It is Stockholm's newest market hall and was completed in 1992 according to the design by the architect Bo Kessel . The building complex consists of two parts, both with bright, glazed inner courtyards and with numerous restaurants, shops and offices as well as a multiplex cinema .

The market hall is located in the north of the two buildings. The facade shows the typical architecture of the 1990s, consisting of glass, aluminum and concrete. The interior is bright with wraparound galleries where numerous shops are located. On the ground floor, with direct access from Medborgarplatsen , is the market with many small, independent traders who offer Swedish specialties and delicacies .
