Sören Vogelsang (born August 13, 1984 in Bonn - Bad Godesberg ) is a German musician and actor .

As the bard Ranarion , he has appeared at medieval festivals and larp events since 2006 . His YouTube videos made him known to a wider audience. Between 2007 and 2010 he was a member of the Adivarius medieval formation . Together with the group he recorded the album Spiegelwelt in 2009 , to which he also contributed his own songs.

With Martin Spieß he founded the duo Das Ebene in 2008 . The level has released three studio albums so far. In 2011, the solo album Moment was released , which Sören financed entirely through crowdfunding . In addition to their own songs, there are reworkings of medieval songs and cover versions. Between 2005 and 2008 he studied acting at the European Theater Institute (ETI) in Berlin. During this time he appeared as an extra and small actor in various German television and cinema productions.
