Sørskogbygda is a place in the municipality of Elverum in the Fylke (Province) Innlandet in eastern Norway . The place is about 20 kilometers east of Elverum, at Fylkesvei 20. In the center of the village there is a shopping center, a community hall and a kindergarten. There is also the Sørskogbygda church ( Sørskogbygda kirke , formerly also Sætre kapell , or Saetre chapel ), which was built in 1873 by the Norwegian architect Otto Schønheyder as a so-called long church.
