The Südostbayerische Rundschau is a local newspaper and the current print medium for the border region on the Salzach between the cities of Tittmoning in the north, Laufen in the center, Freilassing / Ainring in the south and the area around the Waginger See and the Teisendorf market . The newspaper is the official gazette of the city and the district court of Laufen , the city of Tittmoning, as well as the communities Fridolfing , Kirchanschöring and Petting . It has been 100 percent owned by Passauer Neue Presse GmbH since 2012 .

The TV magazine rtv is included on Wednesdays .

The seat is in Trostberg .

On May 14, 2013, Südostbayerische Rundschau, Trostberger Tagblatt and Alt-Neuöttinger Anzeiger launched the news portal for Southeast Bavaria called heimatzeitung.de.
