The rail vehicles of the series ТУ6Д (German transcription TU6D ) of the Soviet railways (SZD) are narrow- equipped with a cargo platform and a hydraulic crane diesel - rotting cars ( Handcars ) that a variation of the SZD series ТУ6А emerged.
history
The production of the Rottenkraftwagen began in 1978 in the Kambarka machine factory . It is a variant of the SŽD series ТУ6А . The Rottenkraftwagen differed from the TU6A locomotive by a freight platform and a hydraulic crane. The index Д in its name is not an abbreviation and the Rottenkraftwagen were numbered independently of the ТУ6A diesel locomotive . For example, there is an inventory number 0001 for both the ТУ6A and the ТУ6Д .
Technical equipment
The Rottenkraftwagen is powered by a diesel engine with mechanical power transmission. It is intended for carrying out maintenance, crane and shunting work on narrow-gauge railways with a track width of 750 mm. The driver's cab is well insulated and clearly laid out, and a special heater is provided for heating. The Rottenkraftwagen was equipped with a pulling and pushing device customary for narrow-gauge railways , but it could also be equipped with an automatic central buffer coupling.
The Rottenkraftwagen received the drive train of the ТУ6А diesel locomotives with slightly modified construction details. Due to the fact that five seats for passengers and a loading area are arranged on the intermediate floor of the cabin in the middle part of the vehicle behind the driver's cab, the main air reservoir, the fuel tank with a smaller capacity than on the ТУ6А and the hydraulic tank were relocated under the hood. The vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic crane with a lifting capacity of 1 ton and a maximum reach of 5 meters. The crane could be controlled from the driver's cab or via a remote control.
