SAI Global is a publicly traded Australian company founded in 2003.
It provides services and products in the field of risk management worldwide, and in Australia it also provides real estate services in the legal, financial and property sectors . The head office is in Sydney , Australia. The German headquarters are in Munich . SAI Global employs 2000 people in 29 countries at 51 locations in Europe , North America and Asia .
history
SAI Global was founded on December 17th, 2003. It is part of the ASX 200. The parent company Australia Standards holds a 40% stake in SAI. In addition, SAI Global Limited acquires Standards Australia's trading business, including the standards publications business. This includes an exclusive right to publish "Australian Standards" from Standards Australia and offers its share to the public as part of the initial public offering (IPO).
In the years 2004–2014 the company made further acquisitions through which it further expanded its market: Acquisition of IQMS, Steritech, Global Trust Certification, Compliance 360, Advancing Food Safety Pty Limited, Integrity Interactive Corporation, FoodCheck Limited and Imtest Laboratories Limited. This creates SAI Global NZ Limited. An enlarged market share in South Africa was added through the acquisition of Qpro. Further acquisitions of Cintellate Pty Limited, Enertech Aust Pty Limited, Listen Up, Quality Management Institute, ILI, EFSIS, CRS Registrars and Easy i Holdings Limited followed.
In 2006, SAI established a joint venture in Korea with an assurance services body . SAI Global Eurasia was also founded in 2009. They merged with the New Zealand assurance business in New Zealand and acquired a 25% stake in Telarc, now known as Telarc-SAI. They also acquired Compliance & Ethics Learning Solutions Limited (also known as Midi). A joint venture was set up with a certification body in China called CQC-SAI. Other new acquisitions were CCS in Great Britain and the companies Certo and Anstat Pty Limited. In 2004, SAI Global expanded into the Asian markets with the acquisition of KEMA. Since October 2014, the company has been the market leader in commercial information management by acquiring the exclusive rights to sell Encompass in Australia.

SAI Global operates in four industries:
- In retail, food and health; this includes pharmaceutical and biotechnology, the food and agricultural sectors and medical devices.
- Energy, utilities and raw materials such as oil and gas, metals and mining, and forestry
- Industry, telecommunications and transportation; this includes, for example, the automotive industry, aerospace and defense, the construction sector, and transport and logistics.
- Administration, Finance, and Services: These include: insurance, the liberal professions, financial services, property and land transfers, and legal services
Products
Risk management
In the area of risk management, they offer companies training, certifications and reviews of relevant local and international standards (e.g. ISO 9000 ), access to standards and technical information from over 200 institutions, compliance, risk, ethics and UGS solutions, improved search functionality for Australian corporate and personal data, integrated real estate services, software and services for managing and monitoring risk and compliance in areas such as corporate risk, supply chains, the environment, occupational safety and product authenticity.
SAI Global provides products and services for identifying, reviewing and evaluating results, developing policies, procedures and controls, and training and communication programs.
Real estate services
In Australia, SAI Global provides ownership transfer software and corporate and personal data searches as well as end-to-end settlement services for the legal, financial and ownership transfer sectors. They are the largest property information and settlement services provider in Australia, and a leader in the electronic settlement evolution.
Their end-to-end settlement services include, but are not limited to: settlement participation, filing services with court, search for land registry extracts and title deeds, account management services, stamping, filing and government deed services with local land registry and tax offices. In 2015 there were 600,000 settlements in this area.
They run an information brokerage service in Australia and provide access to land and real estate deeds, online and manual property searches, corporate and personal bankruptcy searches, visualized Australian company and person searches
