The steam locomotive series SB 32b was a series of steam locomotives operated by the Südbahngesellschaft (SB), a private Austrian-Hungarian railway company .

Due to the favorable experience with the SB 32a series , the SB had similar ten units built at the Floridsdorf locomotive factory and the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik . The machines designated as series 32b were delivered in 1878 and were given the company numbers 1601–1610. In contrast to the 32a series, they had internal controls and a sand dome attached to the top of the boiler.

All ten machines were used on the Divača - Pula route. After 1918 all locomotives came to Italy and were given the series designation FS 291 there . They stayed on their original route and were retired between 1926 and 1929.
