The steam locomotives SStB - Cittanova to Pottenstein were support tender locomotives of the Southern State Railway (SStB) of Austria-Hungary of the Engerth type .

The SStB procured the nine locomotives from the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik . They were delivered in 1856 with the serial numbers 165–168 and 171–175 and were given the names "CITTANOVA", "ILLYRIEN", "VELDES", "MIRAMARE", "ÖDENBURG", "DORNAU", "SAUERBRUNN II" (1857 in " KÜSTENLAND "renamed)," TERNITZ "and" POTTENSTEIN ". Like all support tender locomotives of the Engerth design, they were not entirely satisfactory in operation.

All locomotives in this series came to the Südbahngesellschaft in 1858 as part of the privatization of Austrian state railways , which they called series  1 . They were retired by 1863.
