The SC Vorwärts Zerbst was a workers' sports club from the city of Zerbst / Anhalt in what is now Saxony-Anhalt . His soccer team took part in games and the championship rounds of the ATSB in the Weimar Republic .
history
The association was founded in Zerbst in 1912. He belonged to the ATSB-Regionalverband Mitteldeutsche Spielvereinigung and played in the 2nd ATSB district, which covered the Prussian province of Saxony as well as the states of Anhalt and Braunschweig .
In the 1920/21 season, SC Vorwärts Zerbst took third place in the 2nd ATSB circle. As ATSB district champion in the 1921/22 season , the club took part in the Central German ATSB association championship and was defeated 0: 5 in the central German final to the later German ATSB champions TB Leipzig-Stötteritz . In the 1930/31 season, the club again reached third place in the 2nd ATSB circle.
After the seizure of power of the Nazis , the club was banned in 1933 and dissolved.
