For the 1921/22 season, the ATSB circle of the Märkische Spielvereinigung was divided into a circle for Berlin and the surrounding area and a circle for southern Brandenburg, so that the number of participating ATSB district champions rose from 14 to 15. The 15 district champions determined the participants in the final round in four regional finals. The game was played in a knockout system .
