German ATSB football championship 1926/27

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German ATSB Football Championship 1927 was the eighth of the Workers' Gymnastics and Sports Association oriented German championship in football . The winner was the Dresdner SV 10 .

Mode and participants

Originally it was planned that, as in previous years, the 17 ATSB district champions would determine four participants in the nationwide final round in four regional rounds in the knockout system . An East German championship was not held, however, as the two districts of the Märkische Spielvereinigung in the Berlin / Brandenburg area did not determine any champions and the champions of the Pomerania and East Prussia districts - Danzig , FT Stettin-Nemitz and FFV Ponarth, waived their participation due to excessive travel costs . The final round of the national championship was therefore held with only three participants.
