The SK Olympik Mělník is a Czech futsal club from Mělník .
Club history
Olympik Mělník was founded in 1992. In the 2004/05 season, the team rose from the third division Divize to the 2nd division. There, the team immediately took second place. In addition, the newcomer to the second division managed to make it into the Czech cup final. There you had to admit defeat Nejzbach Vysoké Mýto with 1: 6 . Mělník was able to confirm second place in the league in the 2006/07 season.
In the following year, Olympics secured the championship of the 2nd league západ and rose to the top division. Because their own hall in Mělník did not meet the requirements of the first division, the team played their home games in Neratovice, about 13 km away . After two years of membership in the first division, Mělník had to go to the second division as the bottom of the table in the 2009/10 season.
