SS-Leitheft

The SS-Leitheft was an illustrated National Socialist magazine . It appeared irregularly as the central publication organ of the SS from 1935 to October 1944. It was published by the Reichsführer SS , SS main office in Berlin , among other things in the training office of the race and settlement main office .

Among the issues the basics of belonged National Socialist ideology , racial science , eugenics, German history , Germanic , "opponents customer" as well as war and soldiering .

Joachim Caesar was temporarily responsible for the magazine . The authors included Günther Franz , Werner Jansen , Siegfried Kadner , Johann von Leers and Wilhelm Bornstedt . One illustrator was Wilhelm Petersen .
