Siegfried Kadner

Siegfried Kadner (born May 29, 1887 in Kirchenthumbach , † April 19, 1970 in Berlin ) was a German teacher and writer .

Life

Born the son of a forester, Kadner studied German, French and geography in Marburg , Paris and Strasbourg after attending the old grammar school in Regensburg . During his studies in 1906 he became a member of the Marburg Burschenschaft Rheinfranken . In 1911 he passed his state examination and after a time in England became an assistant teacher in Wandsbek .

He took part in the First World War. In 1918 he became a member of the SPD . In 1919 he was in Kiel for Dr. phil. PhD . He was teacher in Berlin, where he casually as a lecturer for German Stylistics at the community college worked. From 1929 he received lectureships on racial studies from the Berlin University. In 1933 he worked as a cultural and press officer. In 1933 he became a member of the NS teachers' association and the NSDAP (membership number 2,637,572). He became a member of the SS and worked as a speaker for racial studies and heredity in the district education office. From 1933 to 1935 he was honorary director of the adult education center. Kadner became a member of the Reich Chamber of Culture and worked in the SS training office. He became SA-Oberscharführer . He wrote some articles for the SS Leithefte . Kadner was a student of Herman Wirth . In 1941 he became senior teacher .

In the 1960s, Kadner worked as a translator from French for Blanvalet Verlag .
