The SSC Aero is a supercar manufactured by the US small series manufacturer SSC North America . It was also available as the Ultimate Aero and Ultimate Aero TT . This most powerful version achieved a top speed of 412 km / h on a measuring section that was traveled twice in 2007.

The Ultimate Aero TT thus replaced the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 as the fastest road car to date. On June 26th 2010 a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport set a new record with 431 km / h and relegated the Ultimate Aero TT back to second place. (The sales version of the Bugatti is limited to 415 km / h.)

2006 - SSC Ultimate Aero

The Aero is a mid-engined car with rear-wheel drive .
