The sports club Föhren 1920 eV is a German sports club based in Föhren in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Trier-Saarburg .
history
Soccer
The soccer team played in the 1950/51 season in what was then the second highest league, the Rhineland regional league, and at the end of the season it was tenth in the southern team .
After the 2002/03 season, the first team in the district league A Trier-Saarburg won first place, but the team did not rise. After several seasons in the top positions, the team did not win the championship again until the end of the 2007/08 season. For the next season, the team finally rose to the District League West and achieved 13th place on the table there in the first season. The time in the district league lasted until the 2013/14 season after which the team was relegated to the penultimate due to 15th place and 32 points. In the following season, however, he immediately won the championship title in the district league A again with 66 points . Back in the district league, the team was able to save itself just from direct relegation via 13th place at the end of the season. For the next season, the team then had to compete again in the district league A and ended up only in fourth place there. The team still plays in this league today.
Table tennis
The club has five men's teams and two youth teams that take part in the game. The first team currently plays in the Wittich district league .
