The SV Schackendorf (officially: Sportverein Schackendorf eV ) is a sports club from the community of Schackendorf in the Segeberg district in Schleswig-Holstein . The club has divisions for football , tennis , table tennis and gymnastics .

Football department

In the 2000s, the club's men's soccer team achieved continuous ascent from the district class to the Association League West , which they first belonged to from 2008 to 2011. In the 2010/2011 season, SV Schackendorf took 2nd place and was promoted to the Schleswig-Holstein League . In the 2011/12 season, the club finished 17th there, which meant the direct relegation. Since then, SV Schackendorf has played again in the Association League South-West.

As a result of the reform of the SHFV , the 1st team will compete in the new two-track state league from the 2017/18 season.
