The Saalegge is 299.6 m above sea level. NN the second highest mountain in the city of Vlotho and also in the Herford district . The mountain is located in the east of the municipality of Vlotho in the district of Valdorf and naturally belongs to the Weser Uplands and the Lipper Mountains . To the north of the Saalegge lies the almost equally high Ruschberg . The part of the name Egge indicates the shape of the mountain (elongated ridge top ).
