Sabathy area
The Sabathy area is a weekend house settlement in the market town of Obdach in Styria.
The Sabathy area a little below the Sabathyalm, an alpine pasture area in the Seetal Alps , is located in the village of Granitzen and consists of the Sabathyhütte, the Zirbenwaldhütte and numerous habitable alpine huts, which represent the upper end of the Rieseralm ski area. In the regional development program of the Upper Styria West region , the Sabathy area is designated as a priority zone for residential, village and recreational purposes.
