Sabine Küchler (born May 15, 1965 in Bremen ) is a German writer .

Life

Küchler studied German and theater studies in Berlin . She then moved to Cologne , where she still works as an editor at Deutschlandfunk . In 1991 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Küchler is a member of the PEN Center Germany .

She is the author of prose , poetry and radio plays .

She received u. a. The following awards: 1988 a working grant for Berlin writers, 1992 a grant from the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben , 1995 the Friedrich-Hölderlin-Prize of the city of Homburg and a grant from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Küchler has already traveled several times for the Goethe-Institut (in the Argentine cloud forest and in Turkey). She processed her experiences in writing (as a blog and as a book).
