Sabine Mangold

Sabine Mangold (born January 15, 1957 in Berlin ) is a German translator of Japanese literature.

Life

Sabine Mangold studied Japanese studies, German literature and art history at the Free University of Berlin , was a lecturer in German language and literature at the University of Niigata from 1986 and from 1989 to 1994 editor at the Japanese business newspaper Nihon Keizai Shinbun . Since 1990 she has worked as a translator of Japanese literary works - novels, poems, dramas - as well as non-fiction, essay and film dubbing. Since 1995 she has been working as a BDY certified yoga teacher.

Sabine Mangold is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , VdÜ.
