Sabine Schlager

Sabine Schlager (born November 29, 1953 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German politician ( Alliance 90 / The Greens ).

After graduating from high school, Schlager studied biology and chemistry for teaching at secondary schools at the Freiburg University of Education . She then completed an apprenticeship as an optician in Reutlingen and was an optician in Tübingen from 1983 to 1995.

Schlager was a member of the Tübingen municipal council from 1984 to 1989 . In 1994 she was elected to the district council of the Tübingen district. From 1996 to 2001 she was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , in which she represented the second mandate of the electoral district 62 Tübingen. She then became an employee of the regional office of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen and managing director of the local political association of Greens and Alternative in the councils .
