Sabine Wecke
Sabine Wecke (born March 16, 1954 ) is a former German athlete who competed in long and high jump competitions . She started for SV Bayer 04 Leverkusen .
Her personal best in the high jump is 1.79 m, which she achieved on September 4, 1976 in Hanover .
With 6.48 m, her personal best in the long jump, she became German champion on August 14, 1976 in Frankfurt (Main) . However, only last year's champion Christa Striezel was sent to the Olympic Games in Montreal , which had already taken place before - from July 17th to August 1st .
In 1980 she won the German team championship with LG Bayer Leverkusen .
In addition, she has two third places: 1976 in the all- around competition behind Eva Wilms and Liesel Albert, in 1977 in the long jump behind Christa Striezel and Cilly Lemkamp.
