Sabolotne ( Ukrainian Заболотне ; Russian Заболотное Sabolotnoje ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Vinnytsia Oblast with about 1400 inhabitants (2004).
The village, founded in 1756 as Chobotarka , is the only place in the district council of the same name in Kryschopil district and is 7 km north of the district center of Kryschopil and 116 km south of the district center of Vinnytsia . In 1929 the village was renamed Sabolotne after the epidemiologist and microbiologist Danylo Sabolotnyj, who was born here in 1866 .
