Faroese Women's Football Cup 2016

The Faroese Women's Football Cup 2016 took place between May 1st and September 3rd 2016 and was played for the 27th time. In the final, which was played on artificial turf in the Tórsvøllur Stadium in Tórshavn , defending champion KÍ Klaksvík won 3-2 against HB Tórshavn and was thus able to win the cup for the seventh time in a row.

KÍ Klaksvík and HB Tórshavn finished first and fourth in the championship , thereby KÍ Klaksvík achieved the double . For KÍ Klaksvík it was the 14th victory in the 20th final, for HB Tórshavn the sixth defeat in the eleventh final.
