ÍF / Víkingur was a Faroese women's football club , which was created in 2014 from the merger of ÍF Fuglafjørður and Víkingur Gøta .
history
After EB / Streymur and Skála ÍF , both based on the island of Eysturoy , merged to form EB / Streymur / Skála in the previous year, the other two clubs Eysturoys also merged. In the previous season, ÍF Fuglafjørður and Víkingur Gøta finished fifth and sixth among eight teams, a year later the fourth place could be achieved, so the new club could in contrast to the previous year B36 Tórshavn behind. In the cup , the team was eliminated against HB Tórshavn in the semi-finals. After two further fourth places in 2017 and 2018, the new club ÍF / Víkingur / B68 was launched, to which B68 Toftir also joined.
