The Sachsenburg is 720.9 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Rhön in the western part of Thuringia . It is located around 1.8 km southwest of Oberalba , a north-western part of the municipality of Dermbach in the Vorderen Rhön at the interface with the Kuppenrhön . Your northern secondary peak is 691.6 m above sea level. NHN high Röderburg , which is also known as Röderberg or Hessenkuppe . Here old boundary stones testify to the course of the border with Hesse in earlier times. Today it runs in a south-southwest direction at least 4.8 km away. On the Röderberg there are ring walls made of basalt stones , which are interpreted as a building from the early La Tène period . The Zeller Kopf is located south of Röderberg and Sachsenburg ( 693.8 m above sea level ). The area is heavily forested and has tourist routes with hiking trails.
