Sadashiv Amrapurkar

Sadashiv Amrapurkar ( Marathi सदाशिव अमरापूरकर Sadāśiv Amarāpūrakar , actually Ganesh Kumar Narwode ; born  May 11, 1950 in Ahmednagar , Bombay state ; †  November 3, 2014 in Mumbai , Maharashtra ) was an Indian actor . In addition to his career as a stage actor, he appeared in more than 200 films and television series, primarily Hindi and Marathic films .

Life

Sadashiv Amrapurkar began his career on the theater stage, later he also directed there. In films, Amrapurkar often played the role of villain, for which he was nominated and awarded the Filmfare Award . After 2000 he barely played a role in the great Hindi Bollywood films and devoted himself more to the Marathi films.

Amrapurkar died at the age of 64 from pneumonia in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (KDAH) in Mumbai. He left behind his wife, Sunanda Amrapurkar, whom he met while high school and married in 1973, and three daughters, including director Reema Amrapurkar .
