The Saddle Hill (English for saddle hill ) is a mountain saddle- shaped, table mountain - like hill in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Freyberg Mountains it rises at the eastern end of the northern ridge of the Gallipoli Heights .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the hill at the suggestion of P. J. Oliver, geologist with the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program , who studied it between 1981 and 1982.
