Sadie Frost

Sadie Frost (* 19th June 1965 in London as Sadie Liza Vaughn ) is a British actress and film producer .

life and career

The popular rumor that Frost's parents (David Vaughn and Mary Davidson) were inspired by the Beatles song Sexy Sadie when choosing their first name is incorrect, as this song was only recorded in August 1968. Her sister Holly Davidson is also an actress.

After Frost initially played theater at the Royal Exchange Theater in Manchester and also appeared in the music video for Gold by her future husband Gary Kemp's band , Spandau Ballet , she switched to the film business and became known in 1992 for her role as Lucy Westenra in the film Dracula directed by Francis Ford Coppola . In 1994 she starred in Shopping , alongside Jason Isaacs , Jude Law and Marianne Faithfull . In 1999 she starred in The Lake of Darkness , a television film with Jerome Flynn and Gillian Barge .

In 1999, Frost and fellow actors founded the film company Natural Nylon , which produced the film Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow in 2004 .

Frost has also been in the fashion industry since 1999 . Together with Jemima French she runs the company FrostFrench , which, among other things, produces perfumed underwear.

Frost was married to musician Gary Kemp from 1988 to 1995 and to fellow actor Jude Law from 1997 to 2003 . She is the mother of four children (* 1990, * 1996, * 2000 and * 2002).
