Safa Saidani ( Arabic صفاء السعيداني, DMG Ṣafāʾ as-Saʿīdānī ; * May 26, 1990 in Bizerte ) is a Tunisian table tennis player . She took from 2013 to 2017 at three world championships and at the Olympic Games in 2016 in part.

Career

Safa Saidani was represented at the 2013 , 2015 and 2017 World Championships , but never came close to medal ranks .

In February 2016 she achieved a good placement at the African Olympic qualification tournament in Khartoum (Sudan) (5 wins, 1 loss). This secured her participation in the individual competition at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Here she was eliminated in the first round against the Egyptian Dina Meshref .

Safa Saidani had already qualified for participation in the 2008 Olympic Games in 2007 , but the National Olympic Committee of Tunisia refused a nomination due to a lack of prospects of success.
