Saguia el Hamra
Saguia el Hamra ( Arabic الساقية الحمراء as-Saqiya al-hamra ' , DMG as-Sāqiya al-ḥamrāʾ' the red river bed '), together with Río de Oro, represents one of the two areas that make up the former Spanish province (until 1969: colony) Western Sahara ( Sahara Occidental ) duration.
