Sahan Aybay (born May 24, 1995 in Moers ) is a German professional boxer who gained international fame through numerous national and international successes, initially as an amateur boxer and since 2016 as a professional boxer.

amateur

Aybay started boxing at the ABC Rheinkamp Club in Moers at the age of eleven. Later stations were the TV Rumeln (Duisburg) and the boxing club Ringfrei Oberhausen. As a talent, Aybay was given the opportunity to visit the sports boarding school in Münster from 2013 to 2016 and to train at the Federal Boxing Center in Münster.

Professional career

In 2016 Sahan Aybay made his debut as a professional boxer, he played a number of fights, all of which he won, and then took a short break. In 2019 Aybay announced his planned comeback as a professional, he signed a 3-year contract with Tymex Boxing in Poland and from now on fought in the European association EBU . Sahan Aybay is the first German in history to be under contract as a professional boxer in Poland, where boxing is a national sport.
