Said Islam Khodja († 1913 ) was a dignitary and vizier in the Khiva Khanate .

Said Islam Khodja distinguished himself as a dignitary during the reign of Khan Said Muhammad Rahim II , who ruled from 1863 to 1910. Under his successor Khan Esfendijar (reign from 1910 to 1920) he rose to vizier or first minister . He received a mandate from the ruler to carry out far-reaching reforms in the khanate. So he strove for school reform . Further measures were the construction of the post and telegraph station and a cotton factory .

In 1911, due to concerns about progressive action, other dignitaries of the khanate submitted a written protest against the innovations. In response to this, the vizier accused his opponents of a plot and obtained their arrest. In the summer of 1913 he was killed by a hit man.

Said Islam Khodja was from 1908 to 1910 in the east of the old town of Khiva the madrasa Islam Khodja built. He also had the Islam Khodja minaret , the tallest in the city, built.

A daughter of Said Islam Khodjas was the wife of Khan Esfendijar.
