Sakari Ilmanen

Sakari Johannes Ilmanen (born November 3, 1880 in Loppi ; † February 16, 1968 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish figure skater who started in a single run .

Ilmanen became the first Finnish champion in men's figure skating in 1908. In total, he brought it to six national titles. His only participation in the world championship was in 1914 at the last world championship before the First World War . He had to withdraw. After the break caused by the world war, he appeared twice internationally. At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 he finished fifth and at the European Championships in 1922 he was sixth.
