Sal Bartolo
Sal Bartolo (born November 5, 1917 in Boston , USA - February 19, 2002 ) was an American featherweight boxer of Italian descent . He was managed by both Lew Burston and Lou Schiro .

On March 10, 1944, he competed against Phil Terranova for the NBA World Championship and won over 15 rounds by unanimous decision. He lost this belt on June 7, 1946 against the American Willie Pep, who was also of Italian descent, by a severe knockout in a 15-round fight in the 12th round.
