Salcherath

Salcherath is part of the local community Retterath in the Vulkaneifel district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It has a small chapel and consists of 16 houses with 39 people.

history

On December 16, 1457 Salcherath was first mentioned in a document as Seelchenroede . In 1809 the place had its own district together with Arbach and Retterath .
