The Salmond River is a river in the Kimberley region in the northeast of the Australian state of Western Australia .
geography
The river has its source between the Durack Ranges and the Blue Face Ranges and flows between the two mountains and then along the east side of the Pentecost Range to the northeast. At the northern end of the Pentecost Range , the Salmond River flows into the Pentecost River .
