The Salso is a river in Sicily . It rises in the mountains of Monti Madonie in the northern part of the island near the Imera Meridionale and flows 29 km with it.

Even if the official name is Imera Meridonale after the union of the two rivers , the united river is often also referred to as Salso . According to this name, the Salso would be a river that flows into the Mediterranean at Licata .
