The Salvador Nunatak is a nunatak in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the southwestern part of the Freyberg Mountains it rises 3 km north of the Schumann Nunatak .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after Anthony Salvador, ionospheric physicist at McMurdo Station in 1967.
