Salvador Carrillo Olivas (born July 12, 1949 in Mexico ), also known by the nickname El Chava , is a former Mexican soccer player who played mainly in midfield .

career

Carrillo was under contract from 1969 to 1973 at Club León , with whom he won the Mexican Cup and Supercup twice in a row in the 1970/71 and 1971/72 seasons and was runner-up in the Mexican league in the following 1972/73 season .

In 1973 he moved to city ​​rivals Unión de Curtidores , to which he belonged until 1975. He spent the next three years at Atlético Potosino before joining the then current champions UANL Tigres in the summer of 1978 , with whom he was again runner-up in 1980 and champions of the Mexican league in 1982.

In 1983 he returned to his first club, Club León, in whose ranks he let his active career end in the 1983/84 season.
