Salvador Garcia Pintos

Salvador Garcia Pintos (* 1891 - January 19, 1956 , La Floresta ) was a Uruguayan politician and doctor.

The Catholic Garcia Pintos belonged to the Unión Cívica . He sat in the 34th and 35th legislative periods as a member of the Department of Colonia in the Cámara de Representantes . In the following two terms he was elected representative for the Montevideo department .

In October 2017 put Daniel Sturla , the Archbishop of Montevideo , at the Vatican for the beatification Garcia Pintos, among other things, in recognition of his struggle against the legalization of abortion .
