Salvatore Satta

Salvatore Satta (born August 9, 1902 in Nuoro , Sardinia , † April 19, 1975 in Rome ) was an Italian lawyer and writer .

Life

Satta was the son of Salvatore Satta and his wife Valentina Galfré; the lyric poet Sebastiano Satta was a relative.

After completing his school days, Satta began studying law at the University of Camerino ( Marken ). He successfully completed this course with a doctorate .

Satta was later able to complete his habilitation and worked as a lawyer throughout his life (he became one of the most famous lawyers of his time).

In his first literary work, the novel Il giorno del giudizio (The Day of Judgment), Satta describes - from dignitaries to shepherds - the life of his hometown Nuoro and the surrounding area. In order to protect the people named in the book a little, it was only published after Satta's death.
