Salvan Abbood
Salwan Abbood (born September 26, 1991 ) is an Iraqi weightlifter .
He took part in the 2009 World Championships in Goyang at the age of 18 and took 20th place in the class up to 94 kg. In 2010 he won the gold medal at the Junior Asian Championships. In 2011, however, he was tested positive for stanozolol during a doping control and banned by the world association IMF for two years. After his suspension, Abbood reached fourth place in the class up to 105 kg at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon .
