The carriageway has a width of 7.9 m.
The bridge was built between 1960 and 1962 by Paul Jarvis Inc. from Seattle , the inauguration was on November 1st, 1962. Between 2007 and 2009, the concrete pavement including the reinforcing steel was completely renewed by the Mowat Construction Company , for which the bridge was temporarily closed was. The new pavement is given a service life of 70 years.
