Samuel Levene (born August 28, 1905 in the Russian Empire as Scholem Lewin , † December 28, 1980 in New York City , New York ) was an American actor .

life and career

Born in Russia, Samuel Levene made his Broadway debut in New York City in 1927 . He was able to establish himself on the theater stage and made his debut in the crime comedy Thin Man, 2nd Case , published in 1936 and directed by WS Van Dyke , as Lt. Abrams alongside William Powell , Myrna Loy and James Stewart on screen.

Levene died on December 28, 1980 at the age of 75 of complications from a heart attack .
