Samantha Baranowski (born January 30, 1990 ) in Stanhope, New Jersey is an American basketball player . It is mainly used in positions 4 and 5 ( power forward and center ).

Life

Samantha Baranowski grew up in Stanhope, NJ and attended Lenape Valley Regional High School, where she played basketball on the high school team. She graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs .

Basketball career

From 2008 to 2011 she played on the University of Maine's college basketball team Black Bears . In 2012, the 1.92 m tall athlete started her professional career with the German first division club BC Marburg . After only one season at BC Marburg, she moved to England for the 2013/2014 season in the Womens British Basketball League , where she played for the Nottingham Wildcats . There, too, she only stayed one season and moved to the German second division club TK Hannover in 2014 .
