Sami (name variants: Sinchu Baato , Sami Pachoki , Sami Wharf Town , Sami Koto or Sami Kuta ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, around 3,040 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 2,291.

geography

Sami is located in the Central River Region in Sami District about 0.5 kilometers east of North Bank Road , and about eight kilometers southeast of Karantaba .
